Raise a grievance and we follow it until it is closed
If a policy, a claim or something we did is not right, tell us. Your grievance goes to our grievance officer with a reference number, and you can escalate it to the insurer, IRDAI and the Insurance Ombudsman if you are still not satisfied.
Raise a grievance
Tell us what happened in your own words. A policy number helps us find the file faster, but you can raise a grievance without one.
If you are not satisfied: the escalation route
Under the IRDAI grievance redressal process you can take a complaint further at every stage. You do not lose any of these rights by raising it with us first.
Our grievance officer
Start here. Use the form on this page, write to our Grievance Officer at support@tommyandfurry.com, or call +91 84700 67555. We acknowledge a grievance within 3 working days with a reference number you can quote, and resolve it within 15 days. If it needs longer, because it depends on an insurer or a third party, we tell you.
The insurer’s grievance officer
Every insurer has its own grievance redressal officer. If our reply does not settle it, the complaint can be taken to the insurer that issued the policy. Their name, address and email are printed in your policy document and published on the insurer's website; we will help you write to them and pass on the reference they give.
IRDAI (Bima Bharosa)
If the insurer does not resolve the complaint, or 15 days pass with no reply, you can register it with IRDAI, the insurance regulator, on the Bima Bharosa portal at bimabharosa.irdai.gov.in, where you can also track it.
The Insurance Ombudsman
If you are still not satisfied, you can approach the Insurance Ombudsman for your area. The Council for Insurance Ombudsmen at cioins.co.in lists every office, the complaints an Ombudsman can take up and the conditions that apply. The Ombudsman's service is free for policyholders.
